Great Frontier Brewing Company was founded in Lakewood, Colorado, with the goal of creating great- tasting, hand-crafted beer. Inspired when his wife and a number friends were diagnosed with gluten intolerance, founder Mike Plungis became passionate about being able to provide a delicious, gluten- free alternative—one that tasted as great as regular beer. With their now-famous brew, "The Blonde Annie," winning awards in 2011, they soon became a favorite in their local community.
Great Frontier Brewing Company serves their visitors six days of the week, Tuesday through Sunday. They have a variety of offerings on tap, providing traditional choices such as their "Oak Street" IPA, and a number of gluten-free and gluten-reduced alternatives, like their "High Country" cream ales, alongside of their famous "Blonde Annie," of course. Great Frontier Brewing Company takes great pride in their gluten-free and gluten-reduced choices tasting just as great as their traditional offerings.
Throughout the week you will find a number of events to attend, such as Trivia Night, as well as other celebrations. There is also a consistent rotation of food trucks to choose from throughout the week, so visitors with an appetite will have plenty of choice when it comes to satisfying their cravings.
