Authentic German style beers brewed on an antique copper brewhouse.
Prost Pils is pale gold in color and capped with a thick, brilliantly white, dense collar of foam. With the first sip, spicy hop flavors come to the forefront. As the hop begins to fade, the wonderfully soft imported pilsner malt is revealed.
Doppelbock means "Double Bock" and is usually stronger and darker than a traditional Bock. Our take on this winter warmer is a less sweet version of the style.Triple decoction produces a rich malty bier to enjoy as the snow starts to fall.
Our Prost 2014 Maibock has color hue of golden fields of barley, fairly larger pilsner maltiness balanced with subtle prima German aroma hops. The foam head is dense with small bubbles and a light butter cream hue.Mid-range in the German bier alcoholic scale. It is full bodied, yet very drinkable and refreshing.
Our Weissbier (Vice Beer) is a traditional German wheat bier. With flavors of banana and clove this Bavarian specialty is well known within our market. With its slightly citrusy andsweet flavor it is perfect for the summer or any time you just want an easy drinking flavorful bier.
Prost Märzen is a deep orange, malty lager. Originally, it was brewed in March (Maerz). In the days before refrigeration, this was the last month to brew before the weather was too warm.Later, the Oktoberfest celebration was the perfect event to drink the last of the Maerz beer and start brewing again.
Soft, Light, Dry. Unfiltered and naturally carbonated, this bier is cloudier and less effervescent than our Pils.
Altfrankisches Dunkel Bier
This is a dark amber lager made in the world famous brewing area around Bamberg, Germany. They are characterized by their smooth malty flavor. The Franconian version differs from the dark lagers of Bavaria by being slightly stronger and drier.Dunkels have a distinctive malty flavor that comes from a special brewing technique called decoction mashing. We are reviving the Altfränkisches Dunkel Bier from the Hümmer Brauerei in Breitengüßbach, the brewery whose brewhouse now resides in Denver, Colorado at Prost Brewing.
Alt Bier is an Ale that is becoming very popular in the Prost Brewing Biergarten. With its copper color, slight hop presence, clean flavor and dry finish, it is definitely a winner. It may not be as hailed as Hefeweizen or as popular as a Pils but our Alt is every bit as delicious. PROST!
This bier is delicate and pale with less bitterness than a Pils and less sweetness than a Helles. A subtle fruitiness is the hallmark of this classic style from Köln. Along with Alt,this is one of the last ale holdouts in Germany.
Helles is one of life's great palette pleasers. It is crisp, clean and refreshing, lightly hopped, with just a hint of sweetness. This is a full-bodied brew, in spite of its light color. Our Helles is designed to be savored while enjoying the company of good friends.
