A traditional Belgian Dubbel with massively sweet cocoa-caramel-like malt tones that dance with raisin, prune and date flavors and finishes with a pronounced spice-yeast. Deep amber in color,this Dubbel was aged on 25# of Dominican Cocao nibs and a large amount of Belgian candy sugar and has a wonderful lingering yeast spice that plays delicately across your palate. The smooth drinkability of this fine ale belies its strength; much like the amazingly talented and super-sassy Kelissa Hieber as the Head Brewer at Goldspot and brewed this beer with us.
