Chicken Rebel, formerly a San Diego-based food truck, has flown to Denver, and the locals couldn't be more pleased. Quickly making a stir and creating a comfortable niche and customer base for itself in the RiNo food scene, owner Lydie Lovett has partnered with Mythology Distillery to set up a brick-and-mortar space right next door—a pleasantly symbiotic situation for both customers and owners.
First arriving to Colorado as a food stand, Chicken Rebel went on to Finn's Manor as a food truck, and now has finally settled in a more permanent spot; Lydie has been searching for a place to nest with her award-winning food and new flock of customers. Chicken Rebel's flavor-packed sandwiches are an additional large draw to the new 2,000-foot space, which will be able to serve more customers than when it was only available on wheels—and now you won't have to worry about not making it in time to get a taste of their delicious food…although Lovett says she isn't retiring the truck quite yet.
New and returning customers will be delighted to find both the Chicken Reble classics as well as an expanded menu in the new space. Fun and casual like the fare, the new location will expand the hours of operation, taste buds of the customers, and smiles of everyone who walks through the door to get a taste.
