I grew up in Morocco working for a family catering business and coffee shop. I moved to the U.S. and have continued to work in the hospitality industry in roles ranging from chef, manager of a restaurant and managing the catering of special events for several local hotels. I have always had a vision to bring the flavors I grew up with in Morocco to the dynamic Portland food cart scene. La Camel opening is a dream come true. I look forward to sharing my passion for Moroccan food, and perhaps a few good stories, with you.
