This 100 percent mobile food truck and stationary cart operation is Portland's go-to spot for the most sumptuous sweet and savory crepes this side of the Marais. Born in 2013, the truck is the brainchild of Philip Wafula and Marlene Holiday, two locals who were passionate about bringing healthy, delicious crepes made out offresh ingredients to the local populace.
There are loads of crepe options as well as other types of food available for different times of day. Get a "Tease Me" bowl filled with mixed berries, Greek yogurt, granola, and maple syrup if you're looking for something that will give you energy and satisfy your cravings as you start your day. The "Feed Me" crepe is perfect when you're starving and need food now. This crepe is loaded with two eggs, bacon, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, and spinach. It's perfect when you couldn't grab breakfast on the go. The veggie version skips the bacon and adds in sauteed mushrooms.
If your visit to the food truck is for morning or evening dessert, check out their sweet crepes. You get a choice of blackberry, strawberry, Nutella, or blueberry fillings that are nestled in with roasted almonds, whipped cream and powdered sugar and packed into a crepe. If your taste buds are leaning towards the salty and savory sides, try the sauteed chicken breast crepe with garlic, mozzarella, charred tomato, and spinach. Meat eaters can try out the marinated tri-tip steak with provolone, mushrooms, and onions. Vegetarians are covered with the "Veggie" - a crepe loaded with charred tomato, onions, mushroom, spinach, parmesan, and garlic.
