As if the name weren't amazing enough, there's the food. Pho-Lisha's serves up traditional Vietnamese Pho and Cajun specialties with Texas style. Their signature dish is the Phorrito. Enjoy traditional Vietnamese Pho with meat, rice noodles, mint, sprouts, cilantro, and basil wrapped up in a flour tortilla, crisped on the grill, and lovingly plated with seasoned broth for dipping.
Pho-Lisha's can also make some mean Cajun chops, too. Get you some jambalaya, etouffee, red beans and rice, and whatever else she got. Check out their website and Facebook for daily specials.
The idea for the Pho-Lisha truck cam from Alisha Spencer, who was born in Texas, but raised in the bayou. She's always had a passion for cooking and making something out of nothing. After backpacking Cambodia, Thailand, and Vietnam, she fell in love with the food and the culture.
Her experience in restaurants gave her the service and cooking skills she needed to share this love with Austin, so she decided, "What the Pho?" She combined delicious Cajun recipes with Vietnamese soup, and Pho-Lisha's was born. Pho-Lisha's brings freshness and variety to her corner of Austin. It is definitely worth a visit.
