Denver metro has one-up on a lot of local cities when it comes to the mobile burger scene thanks to Pile High Burgers. Owned by brother and sister Laura and Ray, and Laura's hubby James, Pile High Burgers was born out of what's described as a happy kitchen accident when James ended up making his most amazing burger ever. Through a series of unfortunate but ultimately really fortunate events, this amazing food truck was born, serving tasty burgers to demanding Denver residents. You can choose between a ⅓-pound beef patty, a fried chicken breast patty, and a vegetarian patty. The Booooooooooring burger (which is anything but) consists ofyour choice of patty piled with American cheese, lettuce, onions, tomato, mayo and ketchup on a brioche bun. If you're more of the "the hotter the better" type, you'll love stuffing your face with the "Burn Your Face Off" burger, a burger stuffed with bacon strips, green chilis, raw and sauteed jalapenos, sweet cherry peppers, and red and green Tabasco sauce sandwiched between a jalapeno cheddar bun. If you want to have a burger unlike any you've had before, the "WTF" burger is filled with pastrami, onions, mashed avocado, aged cheddar, pepperoncini's, Caesar dressing, and BBQ sauce stuffed into an asiago bun will get them talking. Wash it all down with one of the giant, 24-oz Arizona teas.
