Just when you thought you'd seen everything anyone could ever do with a grilled cheese sandwich, along comes a food truck that answers – and wears– the question "What Would Cheesus Do?" Let's say you're wondering how to get a little sweet fruitiness into your grilled cheese? This truck has figured out how to do it and do it well. The "Go Fig Yourself" is a culinary wonder made of rich brie cheese, fig jam, granny smith apples, caramelized onions and balsamic reduction on bread. The "Forsaken Bacon" is a satisfyingly unique rendition with cheddar, bacon, apple butter, honey ham, and a dollop of honey layered between two slices of bread. "The Reuben" is loaded with Swiss cheese, pastrami, thousand island dressing and sauerkraut, heaped on top of rye bread and served with pickles. As always, grilled cheese pairs brilliantly with a bowl of tomato soup, and What Would Cheesus Do's version is simply delectable. A side of Hawaiian chips in Sweet Maui Onion, Sweet & Spicy BBQ, Jalapeno and Original add the perfect dash of extra salt to your meal. Finish it all off with their homemade lemon bars so that your guilty pleasure experience is complete. Follow What Would Cheesus do on Truckster to find out where they'll be next.
